Made of 100% virgin English wool fleece, the
A.R.T. Treeless Woolback Saddle Pad has been specifically designed to stand up to the harsh rigors of all kinds of trail and endurance riding. It has been designed to give ample room for the withers and comes with front closure Velcro pockets that hold 1" Ultra cell inserts (included with pad).
The suede wear leathers with billet keepers assure long lasting wear. Attach to your saddle's front d-rings with Velcro tabs.
Woolback was specifically designed to stand up to the rigors of everyday riding. Wool's natural resiliency reduces wear, and with proper care, it will provide years of soft cushioned protection for your horse's back. While synthetics only trap moisture between fibers, wool actually absorbs 80% of its own weight in moisture. And because wool is porous, it allows for continuous air circulation and the release of moisture during use. Wool also has a unique structure of fibers that resists dirt penetration, and unlike any other fiber, it has minute "barbs" that grip the hair on your horse's back to keep the saddle pad from slipping.
