Barefoot Soft Leather Reins

These Barefoot Soft Leather Reins are made from very soft leather, and lie beautifully in your hands. They are easy to grip by smaller hands as they are slightly more narrow than standard reins.

Reins are closed up with snap hooks at the front for easy handling. These Barefoot Leather Reins have a inner nylon core to ensure that they cannot tear and to help prevent stretching. Very comfortable, generous length

These reins aren't quite as soft and pliable as I expected for the price, especially considering what I can get for â‚¬90 in Germany. Maybe they will get better with use. It should also be noted that they are as narrow as curb reins for a double bridle. I purchased them for my husband who rides in a single bridle. He says they're "fine", but in my opinion too narrow for anyone larger than a child or very petite woman. After paying $20 shipping, I was not even going to attempt to return them. It would be helpful if this site would have the option to upload photos with the reviews.

I bought the reins to go with the Contour Trail Halter Bridle, they are really well made, feel good in teh hand, and match the bridle very nicely. Really happy with this purchase!
