Barefoot Fender Hobble Straps

Barefoot Fender Hobble Straps can be used for all Barefoot fenders, and other fender brands.

Place these tightly around the bottom of your fender extensions to hold them together with your stirrup leathers. This helps prevent the rider from catching a foot in between, and possible getting hung up. They are an important safety feature and should always be used when riding.

The hobble straps also help to maintain the turn of your stirrup leathers. Keeping stirrups at a 90 degree angle with the fender lessens the pressure on a rider's knee. Keeping this angle also aids the foot's ability to slip easily into the stirrup.
