Barefoot saddle hip saver April 22, 2022 Reviewer: Barb Smith from Locke, NY United States   I’m glad that I purchased the Hip Saver.  It works as advertised and makes my Barefoot Treeless saddle even more comfortable.  My horses have wide backs, even though they are not over weight. Since I am in my 70s and my joints aren’t as flexible as they used to be, the narrower twist that the Hip Saver creates makes riding more comfortable. Was this review helpful to you?

Works great! April 10, 2021 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from NH United States   Bought this just in case I would need it and no regrets! Not only does the extra boost help to provide some twist with my round pony, but it also helps soften the slight natural ridge of the spine of the saddle. The solution I needed! January 5, 2021 Reviewer: Andrea from Arizona, United States   I have a wonderful 17-hand Clydesdale mare who is easy to ride, but I'm not exactly tall (or thin). The Barefoot saddle is perfect for her, but my hips and legs were always numb and in pain after I rode simply because she is so wide. It's amazing what a difference this little cushion makes! I am no longer in horrible pain and can get off her on my own, and I can actually get my leg on her when needed! What a difference! Only $30 to save me a lot of pain. Hip Savers December 6, 2020 Reviewer: Rice, Janet from Vinton, VA United States   I ordered the Hip savers and I received them very quickly. The product was well-made and easy to insert into the saddle. It did change the twist of the saddle, which made it more narrow which was the intention. Was this review helpful to you?

Exactly what I needed May 28, 2020 Reviewer: Haflinger Mom from Gilbert, IA United States   I was skeptical about the hip saver when I ordered it but I really needed something to help me get in a better position. With my wide horse in a treeless saddle it was just too wide to get in to a dressage position.  The hip saver seems so simple but it makes an enormous difference in my position. Seems nicely constructed, but didn't work for me April 12, 2020 Reviewer: V Thomas from NC, USA   I give this four stars because I think for some folks this could work nicely though it did not for me, it was easy to attach and nicely constructed.  I believe my seat bones are wider than most gals, and in my case ... instead of giving me a higher point for my seatbones to sit on so my thigh could drop at a better angle, for me it just felt like I was riding on a rolled up towel ... not very comfortable.  The good news is, turns out the saddle is very comfortable for me without the hip savers (the saddle is new to me, so I had ordered this thinking I would need it).  I returned this. Barefoot saddle seat cushion hip savers November 23, 2019 Reviewer: Charlie from Floyds Knobs, IN United States   This has solved my problem. I'm a newbie to treeless saddles but an oldie...68 years old.  My thighs ached after riding. I thought I would get used to it but I wasn't.  I read about this on treeless discussion site. It arrived in a few days and has truly made a difference in my hips and thighs discomfort. It was easy to attach and fits my Black Forest Bonzai saddle perfectly. Was this review helpful to you?
