You can also add the Barefoot Bit Straps and attach a bit to the Noseband. This Nubuck leather noseband has an innovative flexible wire inside so it can adapt to the shape of your horse's nose. It also makes the noseband more stable and stays in place. Fit the noseband about a finger or two below the cheekbone.
