Everyone who's sat in it say its the comfiest thing ever! Definitely better than any saddle I've owned. Somehow the ride-on leaves tons of spine clearance. My horse is an elder thoroughbred with huge withers and it just brushes his back with the medium-thickness pads inserted, but sweat marks afterwards make it seem like its not a problem, and he certainly doesn't act like it is. I would 100% recommend this pad. Its a touch large, though no bigger than any other pad Ive seen really, but I do have a small Arabian (14h) that it just swallows up. My huge thoroughbred uses a 56" girth and I use a 22" dressage girth with this pad but its still high enough that I don't (can't) use those extra inserts between the girth and saddle. Still, it looks good on him. Doesn't slip. I'm not sure if I would suggest getting the physio over the regular ride-on, since even without the extra padding it seems perfect, but I don't regret spending the little extra in the slightest! Best bareback pad ever.
