The Barefoot Leather Padded Breastplate is made of quality, soft & flexible leather that is hand-tooled and features a lovely medallion at the chest. The underside is cushioned with thermo-elastic foam that softly adapts to the shape of the horse's chest, and is lined with soft leather. The soft padding on the underside is slightly wider than the leather and rounded to ensure that the breastplate does not rub the horse's coat.

This breastplate fits most saddles, as the length allows adjustments through various mounting options. Includes two leather straps and two carabiner hooks. All hardware is nickel-plated brass.

I like it. Seems comfortable for my horse was too big so I had to make more wholes but padding and leather are soft.

I have owned a lot of different breast collars and could never find one it liked! Some even costing $200. I have always loved the barefoot brand so I bought the breast collar. First of all The leather is very wonderful quality! The padded in it is perfect! No more rubbing with this breast collar! Its the perfect size not the thick and not the thin. I wish I would have found this a long time ago. For the price you get your moneys worth! It really is beautiful! I love the tooling and the medallion in the middle. Even the center piece is padded so I don't have to worry about it pinching my horse when she bends down to eat. I will never buy another breast collar ever again! If you have liked anything you have bought from barefoot.. you will love this breast collar! :)
