Barefoot Fancy Stitched Leather Breast Collar - Black

The Barefoot Fancy Stitched Padded Leather Breastplate is made of quality, soft & flexible leather and features a lovely embroidery. The underside is cushioned with thermo-elastic foam that softly adapts to the shape of the horse's chest, and is lined with soft leather. The soft padding on the underside is slightly wider than the leather, and rounded to ensure that the breastplate does not rub the horse's coat.

This breastplate fits most saddles, as the length allows for adjustments through various mounting options. Includes two leather straps and two carabiner hooks. All hardware is nickel-plated brass.

I first ordered the other breastplate but it didn't fit my 3 year old Gypsy. I was able to exchange it for this one. It firs and working good to keep saddle in place on my round barrel horse.

Why nickel? Nickel is toxic. I had nickel poisoning. I am not putting nickel anything on my horse. (Even though I otherwise like the quality)

I use this breast plate on my 14.2 TWH with the Cheyenne.  It is almost too big, but I could punch more holes.  It looks very nice and the stitching is simple but very pretty.  A friend of mine purchased one after seeing mine and she loves it as well.
