Barefoot Nottingham - Saddle for Jumping, Dressage & Flatwork
The Nottingham is a treeless saddle designed for riders who need stability and close contact for jumping and flatwork. Its seat and flap angle promote an upright leg position, giving security over fences while allowing freedom of movement.
The 3-Layer VPS System ensures even more protection from pressure under the stirrup attachment. Therefore, this saddle is not only suitable for jumping but also ideal for riders who are heavier in the saddle, long treks, or other strenuous rides. Nevertheless, the saddle remains flexible, ensuring the horse's comfort and freedom of movement. Muscles will build up rather than waste away.
This saddle is made from fine Softy leather in combination with easy-care DryTex material as a base. Durable, dirt-repellent, and lightweight, it provides excellent support for both horse and rider.

The
Barefoot Nottingham Saddles feature a three-layer Vertebrae Protection System, or VPS, making this all purpose treeless saddle
ideal for riders who jump a little, who ride with more weight in the stirrups, have more weight in the saddle, or more protection for every-day, long rides!
This saddle has great flexibility, so the
rider and horse can still feel each other while the horse moves freely under the
saddle. This is a true all-purpose saddle, and has an extremely comfortable seat.
The Barefoot Nottinham provides close contact with your horse and like all Barefoot saddles, is flexible and does not restrict your horse's movement - so your horse's muscles will build.

Saddle Trial Program
You can try the saddle for one week (7 days) after receiving the saddle to decide if its a good fit for you and your horse. Keep it clean, keep the tags. Ride in a controlled area, do not go on a trail ride. If you mark it up, scratch it, or damage it, you cannot return it. You cannot return a used saddle pad or girth/cinch. Use your own saddle pad to try the saddle if possible. If after one week you decide to return the saddle,
you will be charged a $150 restocking fee and you pay to ship the saddle back to us. If you would like to try a saddle for a week, Message us sales@barefootsaddlesusa.com
Barefoot test rider says: I tried this saddle on my wide mare, and did a little bit of jumping, lots of two point and light seat and some trail riding. The saddle is made of very soft leather, and that made all the difference helping to stabilize my leg on the two-point or light seat. I felt very secure over fences too, which I did not expect with a treeless saddle. My mare has changed shape since having a foal, and fitting can be tricky. This Barefoot saddle made her very comfortable, and only adjustment needed was to put a wide pommel insert in.
