"The barefoot treeless is everything a person could want in a saddle. I loved it the moment I put it on my horse and rode for the first time. For me, there was no adjustment period, I felt more comfortable on my horse then ever before. I ride trail and ride for a good 3 hours at a time if not more. A lot of climbing up and down steep terrain as well as easy beach rides. The saddle has made such a difference in how my horse moves, most noticeably downhill. He walks with more freedom and a faster pace. We both have been liberated! I do recommend this saddle." -Paula Ivie, Crescent City, CA

3 of 5 Arizona Treeless Western Saddle June 5, 2025
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from OH United States
Pro: Saddle is very comfortable.
Con: The billets are not good quality. The first time I tried my saddle, the billet hole coverings, which are made of cheap mater, ripped.

2 of 5 Would not recommend June 23, 2021
Reviewer: Tracy Leipold from Richmond, VA United States
This saddle pitched me forward on my horse's back and made her movements feel impulsive but with short strides.  The saddle also moved around on her back.  It turned out to be the opposite of what I was looking for--which was a saddle that would make me feel secure.

5 of 5 Gaited Horse January 14, 2021
Reviewer: Lauren from Bonsall, CA
I have a hard to fit gaited, spotted saddle horse. Huge shoulders that have a weird roll when he moves out. I went through so many saddles before getting this one. I even tried the special Imus saddle with no luck! I use a breast collar and have my saddle bags on the back.  I will be honest and say that you need to be an active rider, its not a lazy treed saddle where you just plop on and stick there. It does take a little getting used to at first but I LOVE this saddle! My horse is a more flat back, fat boy, similar to a couch. You won't regret this saddle! I ride mainly on trail, hill climbing and water crossing with no issues. Some arena work as well.
